ORGANISATION
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of SOS Drogue International, The Senlis Council and SOS Drogue International jointly organised "The Paris Symposium on Drug Policy: Local Innovations and Global Challenges," which was held on the 25th and 26th of November 2004 in Paris, France.

CONTENT OF THE SYMPOSIUM
The symposium provided the opportunity to review different aspects of drug policy formulation and implementation and how they relate to the international drug framework: from local practice to the international framework, public health promotion to drug production, trafficking, environmental issues and organized crime.
